Brunei Darussalam continues its streak with no mukims in red and orange zones in the latest COVID-19 epidemic map in the country. However there is an increase of mukims in the yellow zone compared to the previous week.
The latest map showed newly diagnosed COVID-19 cases between January 1 and 8.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar in press conference yesterday revealed, “Alhamdulillah, there were no mukim with more than 40 cases.
Seventeen mukims (43.6 per cent) had between one and 40 cases and 22 mukims (56.4 per cent) with zero cases.”
On January 3, the map showed 12 mukims (30.8 per cent) with one to 40 cases and 27 mukims (69.2 per cent) with zero cases.
