No mukims in red, orange zones

There are no mukims in the red zone (over 80 new COVID-19 cases) and orange zone (41 to 80 cases) in the Sultanate from November 28 until December 4.

The development was announced by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar during the daily press conference yesterday.

“Between November 28 and December 4, Alhamdulillah, there were no mukims with more than 40 positive cases,” he said.

“Eighteen mukims (46.1 per cent) have between one to 40 cases and 21 mukims (53.8 per cent) have zero cases”.

There is also an increase in the number of mukims in the COVID-free green zone.

They are Mukim Labu, Mukim Batu Apoi, Mukim Amo, Mukim Bokok, Mukim Bangar, Mukim Lumpas, Mukim Ukong, Mukim Rambai, Mukim Tanjong Maya, Mukim Kiudang, Mukim Keriam, Mukim Kuala Balai, Mukim Labi, Mukim Melilas, Mukim Sukang and Mukim Bukit Sawat.

The remaining mukims are in the yellow zone, with one to 40 new COVID-19 cases detected in the period.
