THE STAR – Malaysians and International travellers coming into the country need not undergo COVID-19 tests before leaving their port of embarkation and after arrival here from, effective May 1.
These rules apply to all fully-vaccinated travellers aged 18 and above, and for those 17 and below irrespective of vaccination status.
Those with a history of Covid-19 infection and who have recovered from six to 60 days after contracting the disease before leaving for Malaysia, regardless of vaccination status, are also exempted from testing and need not undergo quarantine upon arrival.
