TO FURTHER strengthen the bonds between the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) along with village heads, the Focal Point of the Neighbourhood Watch from the Berakas Police Station carried out a visit and approach to residences in Mukim Berakas B.
Leading the visit was Corporal 3854 Haji Tejuddin bin Haji Sulaiman which saw discussions on the registration of new Neighbourhood Watch members in each village who have yet to register.
The RBPF called on the public to cooperate in safeguarding the security and actively engage with Neighbourhood Watch in their respective villages to prevent criminal activities.
Meanwhile, in the Temburong District, three members of the Kampong Belais and Kampong Buda-Buda Neighbourhood Watch in Mukim Bokok carried out a crime prevention patrol along with personnel from Bangar Police Station.
Also present during the patrol was the Village Head of Kampong Belais Haji Ahmad @ Haji Jibma bin Mohd Hussin in his capacity as the Chairman of the Neighbourhood Watch, whereas leading the patrol was the Officer-in-Charge of the Bangar Police Station Assistant Superintendent of Police Pengiran Anak Haji Azanuddin Aman Shah bin Pengiran Anak Ismail Al-Haj along with five personnel from the station.
The patrol was carried out on foot and began from the residence of the Chairman of the Kampong Belais Neighbourhood Watch.
In Kuala Belait, a Neighbourhood Watch Crime Prevention Patrol was carried out by personnel from the Kuala Belait Police Station in Kampong Mumong.
Leading the patrol was the Officer-in-Charge of the Kuala Belait Police Station Assistant Superintendent of Police Muhammad Fadhillah bin Haji Ibrahim along with the Village Head of Kampong Mumong Haji Mohd Yusof bin Dulamin, and two members of the Neighbourhood Watch.
The patrol centred around the area of Kuala Balai, Mumong B, STKRJ Mumong, Barek Singa Menteri and areas around the village’s jurisdiction.
No criminal activity was recorded during the patrol.
