“Physical distancing is still in place when performing the prayers and the use of face mask is still required. Al-Quran and Muqaddam classes on Fridays are also allowed,” the minister said.
The minister added that mosques, suraus and religious halls are allowed to organise religious programmes and events such as recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Tahlil, Ratib Al-Attas, religious talks, Tedarus Al-Quran, recitation of selected surahs and religious classes.
These mosque activities are allowed with no more than 100 people for two hours.
The minister said Hari Raya Aidiladha on 10th of Zulhijjah, 1441 Hijrah corresponding to August 1 will be celebrated under the third stage of de-escalation plan.
