No active COVID-19 cases in Brunei

Brunei Darussalam yesterday recorded its 12th consecutive day with no new COVID-19 cases and 228 days of no local transmissions.

The national tally of confirmed cases is 152 while there are no active COVID-19 cases in the country.

The latest information on the COVID-19 situation in the country was released by the Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday.

The MoH has taken 210 samples for SARS-CoV-2 testing over the past 24 hours, and carried out 81,106 tests since January.

Seven hundred and seven individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad while 9,605 have completed their stint since March.

Healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there have been 117 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 29 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
