Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah graced the graduation ceremony for Kindergarten 3 (KG3) students of Miftah An-Nur Islamic International School yesterday where 19 students graduated.
Her Royal Highness was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Muhammad Ruzaini bin Pengiran Dr Haji Mohd Yakub. Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muhammad Za’eem bin Pengiran Anak Haji Muhammad Ruzaini also attended the event.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Shadi Ali. It continued with a speech from the school’s Principal Hajah Salma binti Haji Abdul Latiff who highlighted that the students have grown over the past three years.
“We saw them excel from scratchy handwritings to bold clear lines. We saw them sitting quietly looking uncertain and some crying on their first day at school and now we see them crying to come back to school when COVID-19 strikes. We saw them trying hard to recognise the alphabets to now reading loudly and confidently. As we see them day to day, we learn from them, from their innocence, the unfailing love and the trust that they show us,” she said.
The ceremony continued with a Nasyid performance by KG2 students followed by a video presentation of the graduating KG3 students. The event concluded with the presentation of certificates and awards to the students by the principal.
Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muhammad ‘Aamir bin Pengiran Anak Haji Muhammad Ruzaini, the son of Her Royal Highness and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Muhammad Ruzaini was one of the graduates yesterday.
