The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) through the Referee Department will be holding a Class 3 Basic Football Refereeing Course next month.
The four-day course aims to cultivate young and aspiring referees to better improve Brunei Darussalam’s football environment, as well as to increase the talent pool to succeed the current line-up of referees available in the country.
Throughout the programme, participants will be taught the basic standards in the laws of the game.
They will also be taught related theories and practical lessons on the field.
The national governing body also said that participants will undergo a fitness test during the course.
NFABD is committed to increasing the capacity and knowledge of local referees through organising courses and seminars.
The football refereeing course, which is open to participants aged between 18 and 35, is scheduled to be held on February 19, 20, 26 and 28.
