I WOULD like to laud the efforts of the government to ensure that youth are given education.
This effort is evident with the opening of the new Arabic secondary school in Rimba.
However, I would like to point out some issues regarding the school.
Traffic in the area was severely affected after the school’s opening. Long lines of cars can be seen from the school stretching all the way to the road infront of the Royal Brunei Air Force Base and CAE MPTC roundabout every school morning and in the afternoon when students are being picked up.
This causes inconvenience to those staying in the area as well as other roadusers passing through.
Perhaps, authorities can help alleviate the problem by creating more entry points to the school? Or widen the roads to avoid traffic congestion?
