THE NEW refreshing Toyota Yaris was unveiled at NBT Brunei Sdn Bhd showrooms nationwide yesterday, offering mid-grade and high-grade versions.
The main differences between the two are the Smart Entry and Push Start Button, the Auto Air Conditioner with climate control, and the Optitron LCD speedometre.
The high-grade version of the Toyota Yaris also has side turn signal lamps on the wing mirrors, daytime running lights and a power retractable wing mirror.
The exterior is distinctive for Yaris with a strong presence in the front bumper, while the 15-inch aluminium wheel features a solid appearance and LED combination lamps in the rear.
The interior comes with the widest width in its class, and rear passengers can enjoy a refined cabin comfort. The storage capacity of the Yaris can be expanded by folding the rear seats.
The new Yaris is powered by a 1.5L Dual VVT Engine that offers sufficient capacity and fuel efficiency in power delivery.
The Yaris has seven SRS airbags for both driver and passengers.
The Hill Assist Control temporarily applies the brakes to the four wheels in order to prevent the vehicles from rolling downhill when the driver switches from brake to accelerator pedal.
The public can test drive the car at the NBT showroom.
