Boustead Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of Nissan automotive in Brunei revealed the all-new Nissan Almera 2020 at Automagination Services at Lambak Kanan Industrial Area yesterday.
Executive Manager of Boustead Sdn Bhd Lim Jin Lee said, “The all-new Nissan Almera comes with an all-new turbocharged engine which enhances the car performance that further boasts the features of Nissan Intelligent Mobility.
“What makes this new engine exciting is that it adapts the Mirror Bore Coating Technology that can similarly be found in a GT-R. The signature Boomerang LED headlight of the new Nissan Almera really caught my attention because it gives the car a really futuristic look,” he said.
With tonnes of new features, the new Almera gives a modern and stylish look that can appeal to the younger generation.
“We are really proud of this new Almera and we think this car suits everyone here for work, leisure and generally, an everyday drive as it gives a combined fuel economy of 23.3km/l according to our Thai counterparts.”
The all-new Nissan Almera was officially launched by Lim Jin Lee and Senior Operation Manager (Sales and Marketing) of Boustead Tan Teck Hock.
The car comes with an all-new 1.0L turbo engine which produces 152Nm of torque, a 13 per cent improvement from its predecessor and has two different specifications namely – Almera Turbo S which is the premium class and Almera Turbo which is the standard class.
The colours available for the all-new Nissan Almera are radiant red, monarch orange, black star, storm white, gun metallic and brilliant silver.
Both grades use the same Nissan Xtronic CVT transmission with D-Step Logic Control. However, the Turbo-S grade exterior features a prominent chrome V-motion grille, updated boomerang LED signature light, Around View Monitor (AVM), Moving Object Detection, Front Collision Warning, Front Emergency Brake, and Hill Start Assist that are the technologies of Nissan Intelligent Mobility.
Additionally, the all-new Nissan Almera Turbo S grade also comes with 15- inch alloy wheels.
Meanwhile in the interior, the new D-shape steering wheel gives the car a more luxurious look contrasting with a fitted Semi-TFT display for a more stylish metre cluster. The Turbo S is also equipped with Auto A/C, AIVI eight-inch display and a push-start engine button.
Both grades will have the Idling Stop System that automatically stops the engine when the vehicle is brought to a complete stop and activates again when the car sets off.
This will help improve the fuel efficiency and reduce exhaust emissions. Moreover, both classes are equipped with Zero Gravity Seat for the front passengers.
The Turbo-S grade is also equipped with six airbags located on the front, side and curtain to provide safety in an event of a collision.
The all-new Nissan Almera also includes Vehicle Dynamic Control which helps prevent under and oversteer by reducing engine speed and applying brakes individually on specific wheels.
The all-new Nissan Almera comes with a luggage space of 446L.
Everyone is welcome to visit the nearest showroom tomorrow for a test drive or first-hand view of the all-new Nissan Almera.
