The new national football jersey has been officially launched following an event held at the Puma store at the Taibah Nest Complex in Kiulap last night.
Clad in all-yellow, the newly-launched national jersey unmistakably features the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) and the national emblem as well as the iconic Puma logo.
The strip is paired with matching plain white shorts and an all-white Puma socks to complement the fresh look.
More than just a piece of fabric, the jersey embodies the spirit, heritage and ambition of the nation. Designed with great care using top quality materials, the jersey prominently features the colours of the Brunei Darussalam flag.
It is expected to be used in official friendly and competitive matches especially during the FIFA window.
The new-look jersey has also been worn during the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) qualifiers against Macau and the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup qualifiers against Timor-Leste.
FABD Executive Committee Member Pengiran Haji Mohd Waslimin bin Pengiran Setia Jaya Pengiran Haji Abdul Momin unveiled the national jersey together with Puma store General Manager Huu Yih Lim.
Members of the national football team attended the event including Hakeme Yazid Said, Haimie Abdullah Nyaring, Syafiq Safiuddin bin Abdul Shariff, Nazry Aiman Azaman, Shafiq Effendy and Wafi Aminuddin.
