The Land Transport Department (JPD) has set up a new branch on the ground floor of the Kuala Belait Post Office at Kampong Mumong on Monday.
The branch operates from 8am to 3pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. A number of services will be relocated to the new branch from the JPD Kuala Belait branch at Jalan Tengah, Kuala Belait, the department stated in a release.
This includes the renewal of driving licences, vehicle licences (road tax), and the printing of duplicate driving licence cards and vehicle licence stickers.
The JPD noted that the Kuala Belait branch is still operational and is providing other services.
