New intake briefed on new study culture

Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan’s (KUPU SB) through its Students Affairs Section held a Ta’aruf Week for the university new enrolment for 2021/2022 academic session recently.

The 15th orientation week, held from July 24 until 28, aimed at providing the students with an understanding of the importance of KUPU SB’s philosophy, vision and mission prior to the start of their studies.

The orientation also aimed to introduce KUPU SB’s study culture in the context of time management, knowledge acquisition and daily routine. It also serves to foster ties between members of KUPU SB and the new intake, raising awareness on their responsibility in adhering to the rules and preserving the college’s good image.

Students will undergo various activities including briefings from several faculties, centres and sections under KUPU SB.

A Syakhsyiah Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) lecture, MIB workshop, Internal Security Department (KDN) talk and varsity run will also be held.

A Kesyukuran ceremony will be held on July 28 to conclude the five-day orientation week.
