The Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Complex launched its Yayasan Food Street with 13 vendors on Friday.

The vendors have been offered a three-month tenancy and will offer a wide range of local specialties and other cuisine.

Marketing Manager Norfirdaus Rashid at Wadal Amal Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary company of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, said that the launch of the Yayasan Food Street was done after months of research and planning.

He said it a very challenging task to create an image that would represent them (YSHHB Shopping Complex) as one of the best destinations in Brunei Darussalam. Norfirdaus believes in the success of the project despite the COVID-19 pandemic, citing the containment of the virus in the country.

Understanding their client needs and supporting them during this difficult time is crucial, therefore one of their key priorities is to provide a platform for local businesses to flourish and grow, he said. The Yayasan Food Street operates from 5pm to 11pm from Mondays to Saturdays and 6am to 11pm every Sundays.
