    New features for BruHealth app

Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar visited the Muara Health Centre to witness a demonstration of the new BruHealth app features yesterday.

Among the new features are the queue management system (QMS), video consultation, self check-in and patient health record.

The QMS allows the public to make an appointment, online payment and register before arriving for an appointment at government health facilities, increasing customer service quality, improving queue management and reducing overcrowding.

The video consultation allows better online health services by increasing access to healthcare, increase capacity of patient care, raise attendance and as an alternative to face-to-face meeting. Video consultation is available on schedule by health personnel with plans to introduce the feature to appointments set by the patients.

The self check-in is in the pilot phase at the Muara Health Centre. It allows payment through the BruHealth app and given the waiting numbers without needing registration at the centre.

App users can also review their health records such as laboratory results, pharmaceutical and immunisation data. The public is advised to update the BruHealth app to enable the new features. – James Kon
