Learning Tree School in Kampong Anggerek Desa, Jalan Pulaie commemorated the 40th National Day on February 29.
Students, teachers and staff wore attires inspired by Bruneian mascots Awang Budiman and Dayang Budiwati.
Highlights included the recitation of Doa Kesyukuran by Md Ridhwan bin Haji Sulaiman, reading of the national pledge led by student Md Syahfizul Haiqal bin Arifin, chanting of Takbir led by student Md Ammar Amsyar bin Haji Md Nazri Al-Amin and a parade around the school premises.
The grand finale was the formation of ‘HK40’ by the students while singing patriotic songs.
The celebration aimed to strengthen the love for the country and instil patriotism in the students.
