Neighbourhood Watch patrols find no suspicious, criminal activities

An approach and two patrol operations were conducted by members of the Neighbourhood Watch and personnel from police stations recently.

The approach activity was conducted by the Neighbourhood Watch Focal Point of the Central Police Station along with the Acting Village Head of Kampong STKRJ Tungku Gadong Haji Hassan bin Haji Ali.

Showing care and concern for the development of the village was among the agendas discussed during the approach activity session as both parties agreed to conductmonitoring over time to prevent home invasion and other criminal activities from occurring.

Meanwhile, one of the two Neighbourhood Watch patrol operations involved the Kampong Ayer Police Station led by Officer-in-Charge of Kampong Ayer Police Station Inspector Hamdan bin Mantul as well as Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Naim bin Haji Kamis and several village heads, in Kampong Sungai Bunga.

The second patrol operation was conducted in the Belait District involving RPN Kampong Panaga Neighbourhood Watch which saw a short briefing session.

No suspicious or criminal activities were found during the patrols.
