THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) personnel conducted several Neighbourhood Watch activities in the Brunei-Muara, Tutong and Belait districts.
A crime prevention patrol and approach was carried out through the Berakas Police Station with a member of the RPN Kampong Lambak Kanan Zone 3 Neighbourhood Watch around the vicinity of the areas yesterday.
S/SGT 3607 Rossam bin Haji Draman led the activity along with one personnel from the station to discuss crime prevention patrol and approach plans throughout July 2019 as well as to share crime statistics such as theft in the morning and night in the village.
No crimes or suspicious activities were found during the activity.
Meanwhile, officers of Bandar Seri Begawan Central Police Station conducted a visit to the Kampong Belimbing and Kampong Subok Village Head’s residence led by Corporal 4604 Hasnan bin Ali along with three personnel from the station.
Members of the Neighbourhood Watch present were Acting Village Head of Kampong Belimbing Daud bin Jihan, Acting Village Head of Kampong Subok Lawi bin Haji Lamat, and two other members.
The visit’s aim was to share crime statistics from January to May 2019, as well as to discuss problems faced by the village and patrol plans for Kampong Subok and Kampong Belimbing.
The Kuala Belait Police Station visited the residence of the Village Head of Kampong Mumong yesterday led by Corporal 2721 Shamsudin bin Haji Naim along with three personnel from the station. Acting Village Head of Kampong Mumong Haji Md Yusof bin Haji Dulamin was also present.
The visit’s aim was to strengthen the bonds between the RBPF and the acting village head as well as to discuss crime prevention patrol activities.
The Seria Police Station saw a crime prevention patrol with members of the STKRJ Lorong 3 Seria Neighbourhood Watch around the vicinity of the residential area of STKRJ Lorong 3 Seria, Barek Lorong 3 Seria, Pengiran Setia Negara Pengiran Mohd Yusof Primary School, RPN Lorong Tengah Seria, Kampong Baru Seria and Kampong Badas on July 3.
The patrol was led by Assistant Officer-in-Charge of the Seria Police Station P/Inspector Boniface anak Janlita along with two personnel from the station. Acting Penghulu of Mukim Seria and Village Head of Kampong Lorong 3 Seria Haji Saidin bin Haji Ibrahim was present with seven other members of the Neighbourhood Watch.
No suspicious or criminal activities were found during the patrol.
Officers of Tutong Police Station also carried out an approach visit with the Acting Village Head of Penabai and Kuala Tutong Haji Akop @ Haji Ya’akub bin Haji Ismail at the Tutong Police Station Operations Room on July 3.
The visit was led by the Officer-in-Charge of the Tutong Police District Inspector Ahmad Faez bin Haji Md Hani along with five personnel from the station.
The aim of the activity was to share information on the latest criminal trends and to strengthen bonds between the RBPF, specifically on the Tutong Police Station Focal Point with the acting village head.
