Brunei Darussalam yesterday reported nearly 600 recoveries in one day with a total of 592 COVID-19 cases fully recovered bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 242,386.
Meanwhile, there is one COVID-19 case in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and close monitoring, and no cases in Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit.
No COVID-19 fatalities were reported in the past 24 hours.
The latest developments on the COVID-19 situation in the country was shared in the daily report by the Ministry of Health.
A total of 78.9 per cent of the population has received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 11 per cent of the population has been administered the fourth shot.
Some 86.4 per cent of children, aged five to 11, have been given two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine while 61.8 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have received three doses.
