The Sultanate detected 4,185 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the national tally of confirmed cases to 93,034.
Of the new cases, 3,639 were from antigen-rapid test (ART) results uploaded to the BruHealth application, while 546 were from 2,536 RT-PCR laboratory tests performed in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, four COVID-19 cases have returned to the grace and mercy of Allah the Almighty, of which two were categorised as death due to COVID-19; one case categorised as death not due to COVID-19, while the cause of death for the other case is under investigation.
