Nasi katok thief lands behind bars

A local man was sentenced to a year’s jail after he pleaded guilty to being an accomplice in a theft from a nasi katok stall. In February 2020, Mohd Amri bin Mat Jali, 41, pleaded not guilty to being a co-defendant of a charge of stealing two gas cylinders, one CCTV receiver and 208 pieces of marinated chicken from a nasi katok stall in Tanjong Maya in the Tutong District.
