Munajat: Sacrifice is a noble act

Sacrificing for Islam is a noble act and places a person high in the eyes of Allah the Almighty, said the religious speaker for the Saturday night munajat.

Mosque Affairs Officer at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Ahmad Faris Ramadhani bin Pengiran Haji Sellahuddin highlighted that sacrifice for Islam is something taught by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to his companions and should be done by all Muslims. “When a person loves someone or something, he will be willing to sacrifice for that person or thing,” he said.

The 140th Saturday night munajat was held from musolla of Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (ITQSHHB).

Haji Mohd Sujairi bin Haji Dollah, a ITQSHHB alumni as well as an education and cultural attache at the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Egypt was also invited as a special guest, who participated in the munajat along side the workforce at the embassy as well as Brunei students in Egypt. – Azlan Othman
