The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) continued its Munajat night on Saturday, entering its 46th week.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman joined the event.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the MoRA Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang also attended.
The event also saw the participation of MoRA officers, staff, their families and the public.
The gathering began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah led by Haji Mohammad Rosli, along with ministry officers and staff, Kampong Pulaie Mosque Takmir committee members and mosque youth. This was followed by the recitation of Surah Yassiin led by Director of the Islamic Studies Department Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar as well as department officers and staff.
The Doa Munajat was read by Head of Religious Affairs Office in Temburong District Harris Hamdillah bin Haji Masri, joined by officers and staff in the district.
The Munajat also featured a talk on ‘Lesson from Hijrah’ by Assistant Lecturer at Language Centre of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan Muhammad Yadiy bin Haji Mat Yasin, who is also the assistant head of Ash-Shaliheen Mosque youth group Selawat Tafrijiyyah was led by Education and Culture Attache in Egypt Haji Muskrisman Safari bin Haji Mustafa, along with MoRA officers and staff as well as students from An-Nur building in Cairo, Egypt.
Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam was read by Imam of Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in RPN Kampong Mentiri Md Abdul Salam bin Haji Salim. He was joined by ministry officers and staff and mosque takmir committee members.
