Muslims, who wake up in the middle of the night and carry out pious acts by performing Qiamullail will receive rewards in the days of judgement and will go to Heaven without being punished.
This was highlighted in the weekly Munajat on Saturday by Religious Development Officer (i-Ready) at Muallaf Development Division, Islamic Da’wah Centre, Siti Amal Zakiah binti Haji Md Yusof from Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Jangsak.
She was speaking on the benefits of reciting Doa in the middle of the night.
The weekly religious activity was organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) for the 87th time, joined by Legislative Council (LegCo) member Yang Berhormat Hajah Rosmawatty binti Haji Abdul Momin from Ash-Shaliheen mosque.
The LegCo member also led the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.
The religious gathering saw the participation of female congregants from several mosques including Ash-Shaliheen Mosque; Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Jangsak; Kampong Penanjong Mosque; Pertiwi Association from Tutong District, teaching staff from the Islamic Education Department as well as female officers and staff at the MoRA and their family members.

The Munajat also included the recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Doa Munajat and Asma-ul Husna.
The event ended with the recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Spouse of the Minister of Religious Affairs Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Awang Asbi as well as spouse of the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Datin Hajah Norazimah binti Haji Ramlee also joined the weekly Munajat.
Munajat invites the public to step up their daily practice by reciting Al-Quran, supplicating, Zikir, Istighfar to seek forgiveness and blessings from Allah the Almighty. Congregants also pray for the nation and for protection from calamity and diseases.
