Mumong Sports Complex track needs repairs

THE track at the Mumong Sports Complex in the Belait District is in a poor state.

Athletes and students in the district conduct training on a regular basis under training schemes.

To prepare for any competitions, they train hard to represent their school, department, ministry or district.

They might even qualify to go on the national level.

But instead of using the Mumong Sports Complex track, these athletes instead use the track at Anthony Abell College which is under the Ministry of Education.

Athletes can injure themselves by using the cracked track at Mumong Sports Complex.

I hope the authorities will visit the complex and take action for the benefit of Belait District athletes and residents.
