MEMBERS of the Mulaut Village Consultative Council yesterday said the organising committee extended the duration of the open market in the village from one to three days.
Normally organised at the end of the month, the market is popular it has seen an increase in the number of visitors and vendors.
Chairman of the organising committee Haji Ismail bin Haji Yusof said that due to demand the selling period has been increased. The market will start on March 29 and end on March 31 from 7am to 6pm.
There will be 30 booths selling items such as farm and homemade products, used garments, grilled fish, plants, toys, handicrafts, beauty and health products, clothes and handbags.
The monthly market started in January 2015, is located at the parking lots of the Hua Ho Department Store Complex in Mulaut.
