THE Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) delegation led by its Acting Secretary Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Akop visited the homes of four individuals in the Brunei-Muara District who are in need of assistive equipment yesterday.
The delegation visited the residence of Mohammad Sardi bin Haji Timor in Kampong Kulapis to deliver a set of hearing aid.
The second beneficiary receiving similar aid was Haji Malik bin Haji Bakar in Kampong Setia ‘B’.
The delegation proceeded to Haji Awang Damit bin Haji Mohd Salleh’s residence in STKRJ Kampong Sungai Buloh to present the elderly another set of hearing aid.
The final visit was to Muhammad Rizal bin Mohammad Zaini’s residence who received a brand new grass cutter, to enable him to earn an income and support his family.
The equipment amounting BND5,143 was the result of the collected Zakat Asnaf Fakir Miskin Fund by MUIB, to lessen the burden of those in need.
