The Asnaf Fakir Miskin in the country continues to receive the attention of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB).
This was evident when the council presented medical equipment to Musdy bin Haji and Ali bin Haji Tuah yesterday.
Leading the MUIB group and presenting the equipment was its Acting Secretary Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Akop. Musdy of Kampong Masjid Lama, received a wheelchair and a commode chair.
MUIB officials then headed to Kampong Saba Darat ‘A’ to hand over a C-PAP Breathing Support Machine to Ali.
The total cost of the medical aid was BND2,750. The equipments were purchased using money from the fund allocated for the council’s Zakat Asnaf Fakir Miskin collection.
