BRUNEI Darussalam ‘A’ athlete Muhammad Haziq bin Junaidi continued his impressive form in the men’s singles event of the 10th BIMPNT-EAGA Friendship Games after winning all his matches in the second day of the preliminary rounds at the Lawn Bowls Centre of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex yesterday.
Muhammad Haziq gunned down Sabah 21-14 before a 21-3 win over Sarawak ensured a third victory in four matches with his only blemish coming in a 21-15 loss to Northern Territory.
Brunei Darussalam ‘A’ and ‘B’ will play each other today and Muhammad Haziq will look to get one over his compatriot Danish Fakhrur Rizqi bin Zufli.

In the men’s fours, Brunei Darussalam ‘A’ quartet of Muhammad Danial Irfan Abdul Rahman, Abdul Fattahulmu’iz Nor Muhammad Fazri, Mohammad Ifwat bin Haji Metussin and Mohammad Abdul Raziq bin Md Sabri signed out of the second day with a 14-11 win over Sarawak.
