The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) hosted an open day at the ministry’s lobby area yesterday, with the objective of introducing the ministry’s background and disseminating policies and strategic plans under the ministry including the electric vehicle (EV).
The open day also saw a talk delivered by MTIC and Cyber Security Brunei (CSB) officials.
Other activities included National Road Safety Council (MKKJR) and Road Safety Pledge, Seatbelt Convincer Experience to raise awareness on the importance of using safety belts as well as a test drive of the EV cars showcased at the exhibition.
There were also exhibitions by the Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department (BDMD), Land Transport Department (JPD) and Department of Postal Services.
Another open day event will be carried out tomorrow.
