Movie-goers are looking forward to go to the cinemas especially with the second stage of de-escalation which was announced recently.
Starting tomorrow, cinemas can operate with 60 per cent capacity and family members are also allowed to sit together. Those below 12 years are not allowed entry.
Customers are also encouraged to purchase tickets online.
Syakirah Al-Munawarrah, 17, said watching movies at the cinemas without popcorn and drinks felt different. “I went for a movie recently and was not allowed to bring food or drinks and that felt different.
“I look forward to a better movie session as eating and drinking are allowed,” she said.
Mohd Mizan bin Hasbi said his family members can now accompany him for a movie as families can sit together.
He had no issues with the restrictions implemented and agrees that safety measures needed to be practised.
He also said he will only go to the cinemas on weekdays to avoid the weekend crowd.
