MoU boosts student start-ups

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Shell LiveWIRE Brunei and Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) at UBD Startup Centre (USC) recently.

The MoU is a framework for both organisations to cooperate and initiate a working relationship in different areas of mutual interest. Both organisations seek to enhance and channel student start-ups with extended exposures to entrepreneurial education and intellectual property rights awareness.

Brunei Shell Petroleum Sdn Bhd (BSP) In-Country Value Manager and Chairman of Shell LiveWIRE Brunei Hajah Rosita binti Haji Hassan and UBD Office of Assistant Vice Chancellor’s Director of Innovation and Enterprise Pengiran Dr Emeroylariffion bin Pengiran Haji Abas signed the MoU.

UBD Assistant Vice Chancellor (Innovation and Enterprise) Professor Dr Mohammad Ayub Sadiq @ Lin Naing and Shell LiveWIRE Brunei Programme Director Haji Abdul Yusrin bin Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Mohd Salleh witnessed the signing.
