The Kampong Serdang Mosque celebrated its silver jubilee on Sunday, unveiling an official mosque logo and holding an appreciation ceremony for mosque officials.
The event, organised by the mosque takmir committee, commemorated 25 years of mosque operations and to strengthen bonds between mosque officials, the congregation and residents.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman was the guest of honour.
A 25-times Khatam Al-Quran was also held in conjunction with the anniversary celebration of the mosque.
