I would like to applaud a certain car distributor for bringing green vehicles into the country.
Topped with the solar power project by Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP), I believe Brunei Darussalam is moving in the right direction in reducing its carbon footprint.
However, I would like to see more availability of electric cars in the country in the near future, especially more affordable brands.
Perhaps the government could play a role in encouraging local car distributors to consider adding a few green options?
I understand that electric cars aren’t the top vehicle choice for most people. Nonetheless, there are a small number of environmental conscious individuals who would like to play their part in the fight against climate change. It would be nice to have the option to start with the car we drive.
