The Ministry of Defence (MinDef) presented Long Service Medal (PKL) to 26 officers and staff in conjunction with the 76th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam at the MinDef Tower Block, Bolkiah Garrison.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof presented the medals to the recipients.
Also present at the ceremony were Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, acting permanent secretary, service commanders, directors and senior officers of the MinDef. – Azlan Othman
Ministry of Home Affairs
Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman handed over the Long Service Medal (PKL) to 37 recipients under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) yesterday.
The ceremony was held in conjunction with the 76th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam at the multipurpose hall of the MOHA building in the capital.
The recipients comprised two from the Brunei-Muara District Office, two from the Belait District Office, six from the Temburong District Office, five from the Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Department, two from the Kuala Belait and Seria Municipal Department, two from the Tutong Municipal Department, 13 from the Immigration and National Registration Department and five from the Fire and Rescue Department.
Also present were permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries and acting deputy permanent secretary as well as officials and personnel from departments under the ministry. – James Kon
Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism
Thirteen civil servants under the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) received the Long Service Medal (PKL) yesterday in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th birthday celebration.
Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin presented the medals to the recipients in a ceremony that gave recognition and appreciation to civil servants of the ministry for their services and contributions.
