The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) held a Tedarus Al-Quran ceremony at the RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque in the Belait District yesterday.
Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) at the MoRA Misle bin Haji Abdul Karim attended the ceremony as the guest of honour.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by the guest of honour, and a short tazkirah on Tadabbur Al-Quran led by Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan assistant lecturer Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ajak. This was followed by the Tedarus Al-Quran along with the recitation of Tahlil, Doa Arwah, and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam, led by RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque’s officer Abdul Qayyum bin Haji Aminuddin.
The ceremony concluded with a mass Maghrib prayer and the breaking of fast.
The next Tedarus Al-Quran will take place on March 20 at Kampong Sungai Buloh Mosque. – Daniel Lim
