Vanda Chinese Restaurant at Mulia Hotel is whipping up a delectable lunch and dinner set menu until September 11, in celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival, otherwise known as the Mooncake Festival.

Vanda’s Chef Wong and his team have prepared the delectable menu featuring fish maw soup; roasted chicken with prawn crackers; deep fried garlic and soya sauce prawn; dried orange skin and ginger steamed seabass; braised tauken with mushroom and broccoli; as well as longan beancurd jelly and baked mooncake.

Vanda has also rolled out mooncake in the flavours of golden cheese custard, strawberry yoghurt with lychee, and Musang King with truffle.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional event celebrated by the Chinese community. In the olden days, it signalled a time to enjoy the successful yields of rice and wheat, with food offerings made in honour of the moon.
