Moksin Junaidi and Bryan Chiew set the pace in the first day of the 20th Pusat Ehsan Charity Golf Tournament as the pair tied for the lead at the Pantai Mentiri Golf Club yesterday.
The duo currently stood joint top of the leaderboard in the men’s gross category, with players vying for the coveted Patron’s Challenge Trophy and the Pusat Ehsan title.
The top 12 players with the lowest scores over two days of action will advance to the final round for the shot of the title on Sunday.
Junior golfer Elisabeth Boersheim from the Panaga Golf Club is the youngest participant in this edition at the age of 14.

Golf was included as one of the individual sports allowed to hold competitions following an announcement during a press conference on September 24.
The three-day tournament will continue today with two sessions similar to the first day with the final 12 players set to be announced.
In addition to the gross category, there will also be other categories including the overall nett, Division ‘A’, Division ‘B’, Division ‘C’, Senior Golfers (aged 55 and above), ladies, VIP and sponsors.
