Muara Maritime Services Sdn Bhd (MMS) organised its annual charity initiative for 30 underprivileged families in Mukim Serasa-Muara, in conjunction with Ramadhan.
This year’s drive aimed to provide aid and support local community-based small businesses and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
MMS management and staff distributed care packages filled with household necessities and Hari Raya hampers called ‘Bakul Kasih’, containing festive treats sourced from local small businesses and NGOs.
MMS hopes to alleviate the burdens faced by the underprivileged and help them prepare for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri, while fostering growth and sustainability of small businesses and NGOs in the community.
