The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) organised a Dikir ceremony in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul at Ar-Rahman Mosque, Kampong Tanjung Bunut on Tuesday.
The ceremony began with mass Maghrib and Sunnat Hajat prayers followed with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad led the Dikir Maulud.
The ceremony continued with Dikir Assalamualaika led by Head Imam of Ar-Rahman Mosque Saufi bin Haji Suhaini while Dikir Khairuman and Dikir Badat were recited by Firqah Al-Falaah from the MCYS.
After mass Isyak prayer, the ceremony concluded with Dikir Marhaban and Doa Dikir along with Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
The event also saw the minister handover Waqaf to the mosque.
