The Ministry of Education (MoE) through the Department of Scholarship Management and the Secretariat of Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council held an Islamic new year 1444 for Hijrah celebration at the Main Hall of Department of Curriculum Development yesterday.
Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh was the guest of honour. Some 150 MoE officers and staff also attended.
The event saw a religious talk on Disebalik Pengajaran Hijrah: Bersabar, Berikhtiar, Bertawakkal dan Berdoa by Assistant Religious Development Officer from Islamic Da’wah Centre Norhayati binti Haji Abdul Rahman.
A Doa Selamat was read followed by the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Selawat Tafrijiyyah.
