The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and its departments continued a Dikir Maulud ceremony at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Tutong District yesterday.
The event began with a mass Maghrib prayer, led by Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque Imam Sahibol Omar bin Haji Yusof. This was followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, Dikir Assalamualaika and Dikir Syarafil Anam.
Following the Isyak prayer, the programme saw the recitation of Dikir Marhaban and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam. Deputy Minister (Civil Service Governance) at the PMO Dato Seri Paduka Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos was the guest of honour.
Acting Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the PMO Pengiran Haji Raffizanna bin Pengiran Haji Razali was also present. The event ended with the guest of honour presenting a waqaf to the mosque. – James Kon
