The Ministry of Education (MoE), through Entrepreneurship Innovation Centre (EIC), will organise EIC-Tivities (December school holiday) for primary, secondary, colleges, sixth form centres and higher education institutions’ students nationwide from December 12 to 24 in conjunction with the third term school holiday.
Themed ‘Entrepreneurship and Innovation Awareness’, 10 activities are provided online through Zoom and Instagram.
Four activities are for primary schools – ‘Adventure of an Entrepreneur’; ‘Mix and Match Idea’; ‘Ready, Set, Innovative’; and ‘Pitching Game’.
Three are for secondary schools, namely ‘Let’s Get Innovative’; ‘Finding the Solution’ and ‘Pitching Challenge’.
Three more activities are for the general level, including a ‘Coffee and Cendol Chat’ session for sharing knowledge and ideas among stakeholders inside and outside the MoE.
The year-end activities aim to inculcate entrepreneurial mindset and traits among students, instil creativity and innovative approaches, and incorporate fun learning while building new knowledge and experiences during the school break.
