Minister presents Excellent Student Incentive Awards

The Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA) Excellent Student Incentive Award (AIPC-DANA) 2020 has been awarded to 27 orphan students.

Minister of Defence II and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for DANA Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof presented the award to nine students in a ceremony at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Complex yesterday.

The remaining students will be awarded today.

In the Brunei-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level, the awardees were Moh Yee Lin, Shahrul Nizam bin Jaluddin, Ampuan Amirah Farahiyah binti Ampuan Haji Mohamad, Nur Syarah Basirah binti Yahya and Lee Yong Peng.

Each recipient received an appreciation certificate, computer, printer and BND760 for a two-year ease-of-learning package.

Recipients in the Religious Education Primary Schools Certificate (SSSRU) Examination received an appreciation certificate, computer, printer and a savings account with BND500 credited directly to their DANA accounts at TAIB.

The recipients are Siti Khadijah binti Marali, Muhammad Raqib bin Tuah, Muhammad Danial bin Yusop and Nurul Nadiah binti Ronzi.
