A mental health awareness campaign was held at the Atrium of The Mall, Gadong yesterday, conducted virtually and powered by Imagine.
There were also walk-ins who had to adhere to the Ministry of Health (MoH) guidelines.
Qudoz Event Management worked with the Volunteer and Counselling Unit of the Community Development Department (JAPEM) by setting up a session dubbed ‘Counselling through Play’ with activities such as ‘Discover Your Core Values’, ‘Chinese Whisper’ and ‘Word Search’ conducted by the Volunteer and Counselling Unit staff.
The objective of ‘Discover Your Core Values’ is to help individuals to become aware of their current and expected values. With the awareness, individuals will be able to improve their self-worth as they work towards achieving their goals.
‘Chinese whisper’ is set to illustrate the importance of good communication as often times rumours or information are easily misinterpreted. In the game, the players are challenged to convey a message from one player to the next.
