The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) held its first Haj Management meeting with the Ministry of Haj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia at Wawasan Room yesterday.
Acting Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Saudi Arabia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff bin Haji Ismail, Head of the Haj Management Department (Administration) Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohammad and Assistant Religious Officer of the Haj Affairs Department Haji Muhammad Izzuddin bin Haji Abdul Rani represented the MoRA in the virtual event.
The meeting discussed the quota for Brunei pilgrims for the haj season next year, transportation and accommodation in Arafah and Mina, and the regulations and requirements related to the safety, health and well-being of the pilgrims.
The results of the meeting will be followed up during a ministerial meeting in Saudi Arabia next month.
