KFC Brunei has introduced a plant-based burger called KFC Zero Chicken Burger, packed with the goodness of Colonel’s secret recipe of “11 Herbs and Spices”.

KFC Zero Chicken Burger cointains 100 per cent original recipe satisfaction in every morsel. The meat-free patty is coated in KFC’s secret recipe of “11 herbs and spices” and fried to golden perfection, topped with a sliced cheese and freshly shredded lettuce, drizzled with spicy BBQ sauce and mayonnaise, all between a toasted sesame bun.

Although this is meant for KFC lovers to enjoy an indistinguishable meat-free KFC burger, it is neither vegan nor vegetarian as it shares the same cooking equipment as the other KFC products.

“In the recent years, meat-free protein alternatives have been gaining traction with more people opening up to alternative protein sources. This led to the creation of the ‘Zero Chicken’ concept – a chicken-less burger that tastes unmistakably and satisfyingly KFC! We are beyond excited for Bruneians to finally taste the original recipe KFC Zero Chicken Burger to believe it for themselves!” said General Manager of KFC Brunei TH Ooi.

Ooi added, “KFC strives to bring you the latest food trend that are safe-to-eat, freshly made, and delicious, thus ensuring your health and safety as the utmost priority.

“KFC is consistently observing the highest hygiene and quality standards in compliance with strict guidelines and SOPs issued by the government. Get the new KFC Zero Chicken Burger through dine in, take away, self-collect, drive thru or delivery.”
