The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) held a Tedarus ceremony to enliven and glorify the month of Ramadhan, took place at Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque in Kampong Sengkurong yesterday.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad attended the ceremony coordinated by the Department of Youth and Sports (JBS) and Museums Department under MCYS in collaboration with the Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque Takmir Committee.
The ceremony commenced with Waqaf handover by Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi to the mosque’s imam, followed with Tedarus and mass Asar prayer.
