Istana Nurul Iman
A closing ceremony to mark the end of Dikir Maulud ceremonies for 12 consecutive nights in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration was held at Istana Nurul Iman yesterday.
Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar was present.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Hamidon bin Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Abdul Hamid.
Chief Syar’ie Judge Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar recited a Doa Selamat. Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran-Pengiran Cheteria, Cabinet ministers, members of the Privy Council, deputy ministers, Pengiran-Pengiran Peranakan, Pehin-Pehin Manteri, Manteri-Manteri Hulubalang, permanent secretaries and deputy permanent secretaries were also present. – Azlan Othman
Royal Brunei Police Force
The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) concluded Dikir Maulud with a closing ceremony at the Police Headquarters Complex surau in Gadong, marking the end of 12 consecutive nights of Dikir Syarafil Anam, which began on the 1st of Rabiulawal, 1446 Hijrah.
The ceremony saw a mass Maghrib prayer, followed by the recitation of dikir, led by the surau’s imam APO Sergeant 6472 Mohammad Yusri bin Haji Abu Bakar.
Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali was present, along with directors and deputy directors of various departments, senior officers, and lower-ranking officers of the RBPF.
Meanwhile, the RBPF dikir group also actively visited mosques and suraus upon invitation, further enhancing the spiritual aspect of the celebration. – Fadley Faisal
Kampong Pulaie Mosque
Some 300 congregants attended the closing ceremony of the 12-night Dikir Maulud at Kampong Pulaie Mosque on Saturday.
Prior to the ceremony, a mass Maghrib prayer was performed, followed by mosque imam Mohd Zakaria bin Haji Mohd Salleh leading the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah. Among the participants, the Dar Nur Taqwa group led the recitation of Dikir Assalamualaika, Dikir Khairuman and Dikir Bisyahrin.
The mosque’s takmir committee members and congregants also recited Dikir Badat and Dikir Alhamdu, concluding with Mohd Zakaria reciting a Doa. – Lyna Mohamad
