STANDARD Chartered Securities hosted a Market Outlook Seminar at the Indera Samudra Grand Hall of The Empire Hotel & Country Club on Friday night.
The event was attended by some 150 clients, who were welcomed by Standard Chartered Securities Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Brenda Low.
“Wealth management is an important aspect of our business which we continue to focus on to drive prosperity in the markets we operate in,” Low said in her welcoming remarks.
“Standard Chartered’s range of investment products is available in various currencies with different focusses based on the [geography and sector of operation]. With more than a hundred types of unit trusts and bonds available, our clients have abundant options and flexibility to diversity their investment portfolios, thereby managing their risks over their returns.
“Not only do we have the breadth of products to cater to our client’s financial needs, we also have the advisory services that are crucial to helping our clients make informed decisions over their portfolios.”
As part of the evening’s itinerary, Senior Cross Asset Strategist of Standard Chartered Singapore Audrey Goh also presented the bank’s refreshed investment strategy for 2019.
The presentation, titled ‘A Year to Prepare and React’, discussed the latest market insights and wealth solutions available and in line with the bank’s strategy for 2019.
Standard Chartered Securities also held a similar seminar for clients last week in Kuala Belait at the Grand Ballroom of V-Plaza Hotel.
